Gujarat govt-formed probe team reach Morbi bridge collapse site, detailed probe on

A five-member special investigation team (SIT) has been formed to investigate the tragic Morbi bridge collapse incident which jolted the nation on Sunday evening. One IAS officer of municipal administration, chief engineer to check quality control, structural engineer, secretary of road and building and IG CID crime is part of the SIT. Meanwhile, PM Modi, who is in Gujarat on a 3-day visit, is slated to visit Morbi on Tuesday. The fateful accident, perhaps due to alleged negligence, killed 132 people.
