Ground report: Farmers across Maharashtra gather at Mumbai's Azad Maidan to protest against farm laws

Thousands of farmers across Maharashtra gathered at Mumbai's Azad Maidan to protest against the new agricultural laws. The event has been organised to extend support to the ongoing farmers' agitation and demand repeal of the Centre's three new farm laws.

In a statement, the Maharashtra unit of The All India Kisan Sabha (AIKS) said nearly 15,000 farmers set out from Nashik to Mumbai on Saturday to take part in the joint sit-in at Azad Maidan.
