Ground report: Chants of 'goli maaro' and counter-protests in Shaheen Bagh

Shaheen Bagh is tense a day after a gunman opened fire at the anti-CAA protest site where hundreds of local women are sitting on an indefinite protest. A group of protesters reportedly chanted slogans of "... goli maaro s***on ko" in Shaheen Bagh on Sunday as security has been beefed up in the area.

A large group of locals and protesters gathered around the Shaheen Bagh sit-in protest site demanding the protesters to vacate the jammed road. The protesters also raised slogans of Vande Mataram and the provocative "desh ke gaddaron ko, goli maaro s****n ko".
