Govt cannot decide on Mehul Choksi's return until court verdict: Senior Antiguan official

Responding to the speculations that India is sending a special long-haul flight to the Caribbean islands to bring back fugitive Mehul Choksi, prime accused in the PNB fraud case, Lionel "Max Hurst, Chief of Staff in PM Gaston Browne's office, said that since the matter lies with the court, it is now a decision that is out of the ambit of the "political directorate".

He also added that Mehul Choksi is now an Antiguan citizen and is not being sent to India.
