Goa Fire: Luthra Brothers Move Court For Bail, Claim Thailand Trip Was For 'Business'

In an exclusive report, India Today accesses the anticipatory bail plea filed by Saurabh Luthra and Gaurav Luthra, owners of the 'Birch by Romeo Lane' club in Goa where a fire claimed 25 lives. India Today's Srishti Ojha reports that the brothers have approached Delhi's Rohini Court, alleging that authorities are acting in a 'vindictive' manner after one of their properties was bulldozed. The plea claims the brothers are not absconding but travelled to Thailand on December 6 for 'professional engagements' and to scout restaurant sites. The application states they left the country before the incident occurred and are willing to cooperate with the investigation.
