Who killed Gauri Lankesh? Journalist's murder still shrouded in mystery

Gauri Lankesh, a respected Kannada journalist, was shot dead at her Bengaluru residence on Tuesday. She was 55.

Two days on, her death countinues to be shrouded in mystery.

Several conspiracy theories have been doing the rounds, and even Lankesh's family is divided over who could've been responsible for her gruesome murder.

While Gauri Lankesh's brother Indrajit has insinuated that the Naxals may be behind the killing, her sister Kavita denied that Maoists were in any way linked with the murder.
