Galwan valley was named after this man's great grandfather | Exclusive

Mohammed Amin Galwan, great grandson of Ghulam Rasool Galwan who discovered the Galwan valley, refutes China's claims on Galwan valley.

He said, "Galwan Rasool is my great grandfather. In 1892 he went to Galwan valley with the British for trek. He explored the valley and helped the British group who lost their way. He paved a path from the Galwan nala and helped reach their destination safely. The British named the valley after my great grandfather."

"Since the last 200 years this been a part of India's territory and it shall always stay so. Indian soldiers must push back the Chinese. The Chinese have no proof. We at least have proof. My great grandfather went there not once but multiple times and the valley was named after him."
