Fresh trouble brewing for Karnataka CM Yediyurappa, BJP MLAs seek his ouster

In the midst of the Covid crisis, fresh trouble seems to be brewing for Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa. Several BJP MLAs are united against him and have reportedly urged the high command to call a legislature party meet soon to decide the leadership issue.

Over the last 18 months, there have been sporadic eruption within the party with MLAs sepaking agaibt in public against BSY.

Citing certain decisions taken by the government, its handling of Covid-19 crisis, alleged instances of corruption, a few legislators are said to be pushing for convening a legislature party meeting after June 7, the last day of the lockdown in Karnataka.
