Farooq Abdullah's name surfaces in Roshni land scam

Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and National Conference leader Farooq Abdullah’s name has surfaced in the illegal land mutations case under the Roshni Act scheme. Abdullah has said it is another ploy to disturb him. Reacting to his name surfacing in the Roshni scam list made public by the J&K administration, Farooq Abdullah said, “Not only my house, there are hundreds of others in the area. I will not react to this as they just want to disturb Farooq Abdullah. Let them do it." The Jammu and Kashmir High Court recently ordered a CBI probe into a case of massive encroachment of government land under the Roshni scheme.
