Exclusive: P Chidambaram on RBI report on demonetisation

Over 99 per cent of the Rs 15.3 lakh crore taken out of circulation through demonetisation in November 2016 has returned to the RBI.

Chidambaram once again has reiterated his stand on the demonetisation move by the Modi-led government in an exclusive interview with India Today.

When asked about the incentive to digitisation following note ban, P Chidambaram asked was it ethical to pursue a policy that cost the lives of over 100 people.
