Exclusive: IC 814 survivor explains why he avoided watching Netflix series

Rakesh Kataria, one of the passengers on the IC 814 flight when it was hijacked, said that he didn't watch the Netflix series as he didn't want to relive the memories.

In an exclusive interview with India Today TV/ Aaj Tak, Rakesh said, "I have heard about the controversies, but what Netflix has shown is the truth.

However, he said that he didn't want to see the series as he didn't want to relive the memories of the seven days when the flight was hijacked.

The hijack of the IC 814 flight, which took place on December 24, 1999, is back in the news after the release of the web-series "IC-814: The Kandahar Hijack", which released on Netflix recently.
