Exclusive: Hollande was very clear that Reliance was imposed in Rafale deal, says Mediapart president Edwy Plenel

India Today TV spoke to Edwy Plenel, president, Mediapart, who confirmed that ex-French president Francoise Hollande told their journalists: "Indian government imposed Reliance on us". Hollande told Mediapart "Indians asked us to take on Reliance in the Rafale deal and after that Dassault negotiated with Ambani."

The massive revelation sparked a political storm in Delhi because the Indian government has so far claimed that it had no role to play in the agreement between Dassault and Reliance.
