Entire focus remains on rescue efforts: Omar Abdullah on Kishtwar cloudburst

J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said the government’s entire focus remains on rescue efforts after the devastating cloudburst in Kishtwar. He confirmed that more than 60 bodies have been recovered so far, while 70–80 people are still missing. The Army, NDRF, SDRF, police, and local administration have all been deployed to intensify rescue and relief operations. Abdullah added that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah have assured the Union Government’s full support to the state in managing the crisis.
