ED seizes Rs 1.22 crore cash, jewellery worth Rs 8 crore in crackdown on gangster's network

In a major crackdown, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has seized an additional Rs 1.22 crore in cash and jewellery worth over Rs 8 crore from associates of gangster Indrajeet Singh Yadav in New Delhi. India Today’s Munish Pandey reported that the recovery follows earlier seizures of Rs 5 crore in cash and jewellery worth Rs 8 crore. The raids are part of a money laundering probe linked to an extortion racket involving loan apps, with more than 15 FIRs registered by the Uttar Pradesh and Haryana Police. The total recovery in the case has now crossed Rs 6 crore in cash and Rs 16.5 crore in jewellery.
