ED chargesheet says Sukesh Chandrasekhar gave gifts worth Rs 10 cr to Jacqueline Fernandez | Exclusive

India Today exclusively accessed details of the Enforcement Directorate’s chargesheet involving conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar and actor Jacqueline Fernandez.

The ED has filed its first chargesheet naming Sukesh Chandrashekhar as main accused in the Rs 200 crore extortion case. The chargesheet also mentions names of Bollywood actors Jacqueline Fernandez and Nora Fatehi.

Sukesh and Jacqueline Fernandez started talking to each other in January 2021, following which he sent expensive gifts worth over Rs 10 crore to the actor. The expensive gift items involve diamond-studded jewellery sets, crockeries, four Persian cats (cost of one cat is around Rs 9 lakh) and a horse worth Rs 52 lakh.

Sukesh, while he was in jail, used to speak to Jacqueline over mobile. When Sukesh came out on bail, he booked a chartered flight to Chennai. He also booked a chartered flight for her from Mumbai to Delhi. The duo stayed at a hotel in Chennai.
