North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and US President Donald Trump met on Sunday amid hopes for dialogue at ending the former's nuclear programs.
The two leaders made history on the southern side of the border village of Panmunjom in the Demilitarised Zone which demarcates the border between North and South Korea.
Donald Trump crossed the inter-Korean military border into the North, becoming the first ever US president to do so. Kim said that he had never expected the US president at this place.
Kim Jong Un also crossed over to into the south and greeted the South Korean President.
