Doctors' strike: AIIMS Delhi doctors resume work, continue with symbolic protest

After giving a 48-hour ultimatum to West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, the Resident Doctors Association (RDA), AIIMS said the doctors have resumed work but they will go on an indefinite strike if no action is taken against the attack on doctors in Kolkata.

The resident doctors of AIIMS, Delhi are continuing with a symbolic protest by wearing helmets and bandages to work till then. They said: If the government can't protect us, add self-defence as a subject to MBBS course so that we can handle violent situations on our own.
