Doctor couple shot dead in broad daylight in Rajasthan''s Bharatpur, revenge killing suspected

In a shocking incident from Rajasthan, a doctor couple was shot dead in broad daylight by unknown bikers in Bharatpur city on Friday. The incident was caught on camera.

The two bike-borne assailants, who shot Sudeep Gupta (46) and his wife Seema Gupta (44), have been identified as the brother and cousin of a woman who was allegedly murdered in 2019.

The doctor couple was tracked down by Anuj Gurjar and Mahesh Gurjar -- brother and first cousin of Deepa -- to Shri Radhe Chowraha in Bharatpur on Friday afternoon, following which the couple was shot dead at point-blank range.

Police are suspecting revenge killing and a hunt is on for the suspect.
