DMK chief Stalin urges PM Modi to make Tamil the official language of India

Hundreds of DMK supporters gathered outside the Varsity College in Chennai to protest against the inclusion of Bhagwat Geeta in the Varsity syllabus, claiming that it is BJP's strategy to impose 'Hindutva' ideology in the education system.

Meanwhile, DMK chief MK Stalin urger PM Narendra Modi to make 'Tamil' as the official language of India. Stalin said as the prime minister himself has accepted that Tamil is the oldest language in the world, it now, hence, the Centre's responsibility to recognise the language.
