Digital commerce will grow 10-fold, say experts on India's e-commerce revolution

The digital commerce space in India is estimated to be worth $50 billion by the end of 2022, experts opined at the India Today Conclave in Mumbai on Saturday.

They said, money transfer in the country has been democratised with the UPI system.

Deepak Bagla, Managing Director & CEO, Invest India, T. Koshy, CEO, Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), and Dilip Asabe, Managing Director & CEO of National Payments Corporation Of India spoke on democratising the future of digital commerce and how will it impact consumer life in the years ahead.

Mentioning 10-fold growth, they said that UPI will be the core driver of this rise.
