Did not appoint BCCI president, no deal with Sourav Ganguly: Amit Shah

Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday denied taking the decision to appoint the BCCI president, saying that he did not have a deal with former Indian cricketer Sourav Ganguly.

On being asked if he was looking for a strong face on West Bengal and hence had a deal with Ganguly over BCCI presidentship, Amit Shah said, "We won 18 seats in Bengal without a face."
