Amid escalating air pollution in the national capital, the Delhi government has mandated all companies â both government and private â to function at a 50 per cent work from home mode starting tomorrow to curb emissions.Â
Additionally, the government will provide a 'compensation of 10,000 rupees to registered construction workers' who are affected by the ban on construction activities. The report cites Delhi Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa, who has announced strict norms including a fossil fuel ban and penalties for vehicles lacking valid PUC certificates.
