Defer Parliament, says Derek O'Brien on coronavirus threat | Exclusive

TMC MP Derek O’Brien on Friday reiterated that Parliament should be deferred for some time in view of the novel coronavirus outbreak. The TMC MP had recently sat next to BJP MP Dushyant Singh in Parliament for two days who had come in direct contact with Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor, who has tested positive.

In an exclusive interview to India Today TV, Derek O’Brien said only 3 per cent of session's discussion on Friday was focused on coronavirus, while the rest 97 per cent was about whether the word socialism should be removed from the preamble.
