He referenced Operation Sindoor as a response to Pakistan-sponsored terrorism. Sources reveal Singh proposed a four-point formula to manage India-China border tensions, including disengagement, de-escalation, demarcation, and delimitation. Singh emphasised India's zero tolerance for terrorism and right to self-defence against terror threats.
