Davinder Singh, 3 others sent to 15 days' NIA custody

A special NIA court has sent suspended Jammu and Kashmir Police officer DSP Davinder Singh and three others to 15-days NIA custody where they will be interrogated.

The NIA had earlier booked suspended DSP Davinder Singh under the Arms Act and the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA). Singh was caught transporting two Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists, Naveed Babu and Rafi Ahmed and a lawyer Irfan Ahmed in a vehicle to Jammu on January 11.
