Cyclone Nisarga weakened by the time it struck Mumbai, maximum damage caused to trees

Cyclone Nisarga, that hit the coast of Maharashtra and Gujarat on Wednesday, spared Mumbai as it changed its path slightly. However, rains lashed the city throughout the day and strong winds uprooted over 100 trees, but, no major damage was reported.
