CPI(M) leader stabbed to death in Kerala's Thrissur

Communist Party of India (Marxist) branch secretary was allegedly stabbed to death in Thrissur city of Kerala on Sunday night. PU Sanoop, 26, was attacked on Sunday night by a group of men in a clash between members of two groups. Three other party workers have also sustained injuries in the clash.

According to the police, a scuffle broke out between two groups over an "illegal" bike race. The scuffle spiralled into violence which left one person dead.
