Coronavirus scare: Indian crew members on board quarantined ship off Japan ask for help

Indian crew members on board cruise ship Diamond Princess off Japanese coast appealed for help on Wednesday. One of the Indian crew members on board Diamond Princess -- Anbalagan hailing from Madurai in Tamil Nadu -- in a video showed how the cruise ship is in a lockdown.

The crew, in the initial days, was told that there were no crew members infected but now close to 10 people from the crew are identified as positive. "We share plates, and eat in the crew mess. Easily, we can also be infected if we are not brought out of this place," Anbalagan said.
