Coronavirus: India ranks third in vaccine coverage

India has vaccinated over 1 crore lakh people against Covid-19 since the nationwide inoculation drive began on January 16, 2021. According to Union Health Ministry, India's vaccination coverage ranks third after America and United Kingdom. Health Minister Harsh Vardhan on Friday applauded the nation for crossing the one crore mark in coronavirus vaccination saying "congratulations India on crossing a major milestone".
