We're in a safe place if mortality rate kept down: Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw

In an exclusive interview with India Today TV on Monday, Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, Chairperson of Biocon, said that in view of the novel coronavirus situation, the focus right now should be on keeping the mortality rate down. "Keep tracking the death rate and the mortality rate. If you can bring that down, then we are is a safe place because then people don't have to be fearful of getting infected," she said.
