Congress worker shot dead in West Bengal's Murshidabad

A Congress worker was shot dead in West Bengal's Murshidabad on Friday evening after a group of unidentified assailants shot at him and two others. The incident took place at Ratanpur Naldip, which falls under the Khargram police station. The deceased was identified as Phoolchand, a migrant labourer who was also an active Congress worker. He used to work in Kerala and had come home to his village in Bengal 10 days ago.
