Congress-JDS coalition government fate to be sealed today in Karnataka as the crucial trust vote is likely to be conducted today.

Hours before the floor test, the lone BSP MLA N Mahesh delivered a setback to the sinking Congress-JDS coalition government. Mahesh, who is backing the Kumaraswamy led government, declared that he would abstain from trust vote.

He said, "I didn't attend trust vote debate due to personal reasons. I was in my constituency. But my party high command has directed me to abstain from voting."

However, BSP chief Mayawati rushed to Kumaraswamy's rescue directing her MLA to vote for the Congress-JDS coalition government.
