Congress CMs offer to resign from party amid dilemma over Rahul Gandhi quitting

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath, Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh on Monday offered to quit Congress. Their statement came after Rahul Gandhi pitched his offer to resign from the party president post.

The Congress chief ministers met Rahul Gandhi in what is considered as a bid to dissuade him from quitting as the party president. Ashok Gehlot said that the party workers across the country want Rahul Gandhi to lead the party and not to resign in the view of the loss in the Lok Sabha election.
