Chennai water crisis: Who's to blame for death of lakes?

The blame game in the deepening Chennai water crisis is at its peak. The DMK accused the state government of unpreparedness.

Despite repeated reminders over the last one year by NGOs, environmentalists and activists, the Tamil Nadu government has failed to address and be prepared to tackle the crisis.
