Centre prepares mega welfare plan for migrants

The Centre has prepared a mega plan for migrant labourers who have lost their livelihood and employment due to the ongoing lockdown over the novel coronavirus spread. The government has identified 116 districts in six states where most of the migrant labourers have returned during the lockdown. The objective is to ensure the benefit of livelihood, employment, skill development and poor welfare facilities for the returned migrants. Watch report.
