Centre forms panel to probe allegations against trainee IAS officer Puja Khedkar

The Central government has constituted a single-member Committee, chaired by a senior officer of the rank of Additional Secretary to Government of India, to verify the candidature claims and other details of probationary IAS officer Puja Khedkar. The Committee will submit its report in 2 weeks.

Puja Khedkar claimed to be visually impaired and mentally ill in the affidavit submitted to the Union Public Service Commission. Despite her low examination marks, these concessions made it possible for her to clear the exams, and she secured an All India Rank (AIR) of 821.
