Mumbai BMC Polls: 64,000 Staff Trained as EVM Preparations Intensify Ahead of Jan 15

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is conducting training sessions for over 64,000 election staff to ensure smooth operations on polling day. The programme highlights the hands-on training provided for Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs), including the operation of ballot and control units. Mustafa Sheikh notes, 'This process and procedures are very important given the times in which a lot of questions are being raised on the EVM machine.'
