BJP-RSS designed to fight for power, Congress designed to fight for truth, says Rahul Gandhi

The battle of the Mahabharat is the ultimate Indian electoral metaphor, a fitting analogy in a country where international turnout records are set when general elections happen.

"Like the Kauravas, the BJP and RSS are designed to fight for power...Like the Pandavas, the Congress is designed to fight for truth," Gandhi said Sunday in his closing remarks at his party's plenary meeting in New Delhi.
