BJP may have suffered in Delhi polls due to hate speeches: Amit Shah

Hate statements made by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders may have cost it in the Delhi election, Home Minister Amit Shah said Thursday at an event in the capital.

The BJP won only eight seats, most of them in Delhi regions represented by two MPs: Gautam Gambhir and city unit president Manoj Tiwari. The AAP won the remaining 62, falling just five short of its spectacular 2015 tally.
