BJP-JJP split: Was it a political and premeditated move?

With just weeks to go for the Lok Sabha elections, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar resigned on Tuesday morning following a split with the JJP. Nayab Singh Saini was sworn in as CM hours later. It is not the first time that the BJP-JJP coalition had come under strain, with the JJP that was formed just ahead of the 2019 elections worried over the fallout of the farmer protests on its Jat vote bank. The issue was up for debate on the 'To the Point with Preeti Choudhry' show on Tuesday night.
