BJP, JDU announce 50-50 seat sharing formula for 2019

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its main alliance partner in Bihar, the Janata Dal (United), will each contest next year's general election on an equal number of seats, Amit Shah said Friday.

Other allies will get a "respectful number of seats", the BJP president said. The Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) and the Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) are the two other National Democratic Alliance (NDA) allies in Bihar.
