BJP takes a dig at Congress over alleged Covid toolkit case

The Covid toolkit politics has now escalated with BJP leader Sambit Patra and the party's IT cell chief Amit Malviya sharing content from Pakistan media calling it the 'Indian variant' of Covid-19 and blamed the Congress's alleged toolkit for it.

A few days back, Delhi Police had visited Twitter offices in New Delhi and Gurgaon in connection with the probe into a complaint regarding the alleged Covid ‘toolkit’. Reacting to the probe, Congress chief Rahul Gandhi said “Truth remains unafraid.”

Twitter had tagged a document shared by BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra as 'Manipulated Media' on May 21. The document, claimed Patra, was evidence of the Congress party's alleged strategy to "defame" Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
