Bengaluru riots case: Pressure mounts on Congress to act against Sampath Raj

Even as a lookout notice has been issued against former Congress mayor Sampath Raj in the Bengaluru riots case, pressure is now mounting on Congress to act against the absconding leader.

Congress MLA Akhanda Srinivas Murthy, whose house was attacked during the riots, has slammed the Congress high command for failing to act against accused Sampath Raj.

Murthy said that he will now write to Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi demanding action against the former Congress mayor.
