The battle for Bengal is heating up with both the TMC and BJP coming up with slogans and intensifying their campaigns to woo voters. Symbolising the political and cultural transformations underway in Bengal, the 1960’s chant of 'Tomar Naam, Amar Naam, Vietnam, Vietnam’ has shifted to ‘Jai Shri Ram, Jai Shri Ram’, a slogan which has become the cry for BJP party cadres against TMC.
