Beating Retreat ceremony at Vijay Chowk marks formal end of Republic Day

The Beating Retreat ceremony, which marks the formal end of the Republic Day celebrations, is being held at Vijay Chowk. The event noted the presence of President Droupadi Murmu, who is the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. The tune of the event was Indian classical music and the ceremony included the country's biggest drone show with 3,500 indigenous drones.
