Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath spoke to Aaj Tak soon after completing the bhoomi pujan rituals at the Ram Janmabhoomi Sthal in Ayodhya. Speaking to Aaj Tak, CM Adityanath said that those who are chanting the name of Lord Ram today were the same ones who removed the Ram Lalla idol from the site in Ayodhya.

Asked about his reaction to UP Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi’s open support towards the bhoomi pujan and Lord Ram, CM Adityanath told Aaj Tak, “Some of these people are chanting the name of Lord Ram now were also responsible for removing the idol of Ram Lalla. They wanted to do the shilanyas 200 metres away from the actual spot.”
