Assam NRC final list released, 19 lakh applicants excluded

The updated Assam National Register of Citizens (NRC) final list 2019 was released online by the government this morning. Names of 3.11 crore applicants have been included and those of 19.07 lakh have been left out from the final NRC list, the NRC State Coordinator's office said. The status of both inclusion and exclusion can be viewed online on the NRC website- www.nrcassam.nic.in.
