Arvind Kejriwal announces free rides for women in DTC, cluster buses from October 29

Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener Arvind Kejriwal on Independence Day announced that rides on DTC and cluster buses will be free for women from October 29 on the occasion of Bhaiya Dooj.

Arvind Kejriwal months ago had proposed free rides for women on Delhi Metro, but the plan was scrapped after Centre raised objections claiming that the scheme will cause a huge loss for the DMRC.
