Anti-CAA protests: After violence, Assam limps back to normalcy

As thousands, including actors and artists in Assam, came on streets to protest against the amended Citizenship Act, the situation had worsened, however, it now seems to limp back to normal, following week-long agitation.

On Monday, curfew was relaxed in Guwahati from 6 am to 9 pm, Assam Police Chief Public Relations Officer Rajiv Saikia said. Night curfew in Guwahati, however, will continue to be in force, he said.
