Amid protests, Jagan Reddy govt clears proposal for 3 capitals in Andhra Pradesh

The Jaganmohan Reddy government on Monday introduced the bill in Andhra Pradesh Assembly to have three capitals in the state. The cabinet, eariler in the morning, had approved the three-capital proposal during its meeting at the state secretariat, chaired by CM Reddy.

After the cabinet meeting, the Legislative Assembly Business Advisory Committee met at 10 am and cleared the draft bill.
